We are first time home buyers, and had no idea where to start. We met Erica when we decided to check out 1 house, and we really liked the area, but turns out it wouldn't have been the best fit for us, as it was a fixer upper, and the loan we would have needed wouldn't have covered it. She was very open and honest about this, and although most may not like that about her, it proved that we could trust her and the biggest reason we chose to keep her as our realtor. It may not have been what we really wanted to hear of course, but the truth rarely is. ? Erica gave us potential loan lenders to contact, and listened to what we wanted to find in a home. It all worked out though, because the very next home she showed us (she had 2-3 others to view that day lined up as well), we fell in love with and just recently closed on! The process took longer than what was anticipated, but Erica really took on most of the battles for us that we had. We had an issue with the foundation of the home, and once again, Erica was prepared to start looking for us again for a home, as most previous owners may not repair those issues, and we couldn't get the loan with a major issue like that. She gave it to us straight that it was unlikely, but wasn't pressuring us to immediately give up about it, and we told her we wanted to see if the owners would fix it first before we made the decision to look elsewhere. She went to bat for us and we were able to get the owners to fix the foundation! Once that was completed, it was just getting the loan to finish, which took the longest, but Erica really helped us and reached out to our loan lender directly on multiple occasions so we could close. If you are looking for a realtor that will be there for YOU, Erica is definitely the way to go. I had NO trouble getting in contact with her and if I ever had questions, she would give me the best information that she had. If she didn't have it, she definitely found out! She even contacted me just to let me know her phone was having issues, just in case I needed to reach out. Erica, you really made the whole process easy for us, and I'm glad to have made a new friend! Thank you for everything that you did for us and I hope you have many more closings in the future! You really are the best and I'm so grateful.
